Truck Flywheels
In Stock
Heavy duty truck flywheels for commercial and long haul clutch rebuilds. Wholesale for the trade.
Truck flywheels from KBC are built to handle the loads of commercial and long haul driving. The flywheel is a core part of any heavy duty clutch rebuild, and we supply it alongside the clutch kits, plates and pressure plates that go with it.
Truck flywheels for heavy duty clutch rebuilds
The flywheel is the surface the clutch plate grips. If it is scored, heat cracked or has hard spots, a brand new clutch will judder and slip within weeks. Skimming fixes a mild case. Beyond that it needs replacing, and doing it while the gearbox is already out is the only sensible time.
Suited to:
- Trucks and heavy commercial vehicles
- Buses and long haul fleets
- Medium commercial applications
- Agricultural and off-road machinery
- Grey market and imported commercial vehicles

Frequently asked questions
Can a flywheel be skimmed instead of replaced?
Often, yes. Light scoring skims out cleanly. Heat cracking, hard spots or a surface already at its minimum thickness mean replacement. Our heavy duty lathe handles the skimming.
Should the flywheel be done with the clutch?
At minimum it should be inspected. Fitting a new clutch to a damaged flywheel is the most common cause of a rebuild failing early.
